On at least a twice-daily basis, this database --
which covers more than 4500 media outlets -- is searched
for "abuse," "neglect," and "adult protective services." More
than 1,000 headlines and one-sentence descriptions
are therefore scanned daily, on average.
Becker Nursing Home Alerts
Nursing home advocate Barbara Becker daily compiles
and sends out a list of articles related to nursing
home abuse, neglect, and standards violations. She
frequently includes data from the facility's most
recent inspections, as well.
This subscription service provides an emailed weekday
summary and set of links to articles related to people
with disabilities.
This free service provides an emailed weekday digest
(with links) to articles related to aging.
NCVC provides weekday summaries and links to selected
articles about crime victims at this site.
VAWnet provides periodically-updated highlights
of news related to domestic violence against women

On a daily basis, EurekAlert publishes press releases
on newly-released results of social/behavior science
studies conducted by its members.
The NORC Gazette is a weekly emailed newsletter
with a limited circulation. However, once or twice
a month the Gazettes are uploaded onto this website.
