Title: Agency battles those it should serve
  • Vulnerable Adult Abuse
  • Legislation
Comments: The state Department of Rehabiliation Services has lobbied against House Bill 1407, which would set up a "single point of entry" clearinghouse to direct those with disabilities and their families to services. "Allowing disabled people to run their own clearinghouse might somehow open the state to more lawsuits, legislators were told."

The crooks ask for a $2,500 free before turning over the reward money."
