ASAAPS Publications
In partnership with the consulting and publishing firm WordBridges
(www.WordBridges.net),
ASAAPS offers its members and individual subscribers three
publications.
To keep members and subscribers fully informed of what is
happening throughout the nation, ASAAPS and WordBridges
publish the Elder/Vulnerable Adult Abuse Newsfeed .
The newsfeed is a by-subscription service that sends
subscribers an email each weekday listing and annotating U.S.
mass media articles and broadcasts on elder/vulnerable adult
abuse topics.
A one-year subscription to the Elder/Vulnerable
Adult Abuse Newsfeed costs
$80 for non-ASAAPS members, $40 for ASAAPS members. (more

To make it easy for members and publishers to engage in public
awareness and prevention work, ASAAPS and WordBridges produce
a column entitled It Takes A
Village .
ITAV is a monthly,
upbeat, positive, and, above all, practical discussion
of how concerned people can help their neighbors and friends
(with a particular, if not always explicit, emphasis on avoiding
elder and disabled adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation).
Each column contains a box summarizing "What You Can Do,"
to encourage readers to put the column's information to immediate
use.
Reprint rights are available at a cost of $60 per column.
ASAAPS organizational members are given reprint rights as
part of their membership. (more information)
To provide in-depth analyses of special topics and collected
resource reviews relevant to elder and disabled adult abuse
survivors and the professionals who serve them, ASAAPS has
arranged to distribute WordBridges's Adult
Abuse Review (AAR).
AAR special
reports and resource reviews are published at varying intervals
and are available on a per-title basis. Prices vary depending
on the size of each issue.
Note that ASAAPS members are automatically notified when
new AARs are published,
and receive a 50% discount on the purchase price.
